At this time, we do not have
anything available for placement.
So,
if you are searching for a
puppy or adult sheltie in the South Florida area, please contact the breeder referral
person for the
Shetland Sheepdog Club of Southeast Florida,
Inc. This contact person will have knowledge of
club members who currently have puppies, youngsters, or adults
available for placement.
Or, you may
visit the
American
Shetland Sheepdog Association's (ASSA) website and look
under their "Breeder Network" section for the name of the breeder
referral contact in your area. This contact person should have
knowledge of those in your area who would have puppies available for
placement.
In your search for the perfect addition to your
family, please be sure to inquire whether the puppy's sire and dam have
been checked for hip dysplasia, vonWillabrand's disease, thyroid
function, and eye diseases. If they have not been tested and
received proper clearances, you should not purchase the puppy from
that breeder. Don't be hesitant to ask such questions!
Reputable breeders will have tested their breeding adults and will
not be offended by your questions.
